TPCA students routinely outperform the state average ISTEP+ scores of all schools (public and private) by at least 20 percentage points. In recent years, TPCA’s ISTEP+ pass rates have ranged from 80% - 100%.

A comprehensive independent study of TPCA families (done in April 2005) shows that “academic excellence” and “building godly character” rank equally at the top of parents’ reasons to choose our school. Our low student-teacher ratio and positive, supportive atmosphere are ranked next.
It’s true that TPCA students get an excellent education. It typically puts them a least a grade ahead of their peers statewide and nationally in academic mastery.
But behaviors, attitudes, values, and morals need to be taught, too. We integrate that into our teaching the same way we have since opening our doors in 1976. The gold standards of the Bible, Christian values, and Biblical worldview are woven seamlessly into each school day. We call it “Life Building.”
A TPCA education is an equal mix of academic knowledge, skills, and Biblical worldview-that is, God’s design and purpose for the world, and His perspective for how we should relate to it.
