A comprehensive independent study of Traders Point families shows that “academic excellence” and “building godly character” rank equally at the top of parents’ reasons to choose our school. Our low student-teacher ratio and positive, supportive atmosphere are ranked next.
Traders Point students receive an excellent education and are typically a least one grade ahead of their peers statewide and nationally in academic mastery. In fact, our students routinely out-perform the state average ISTEP+ scores of all schools (public and private) by at least 20 percentage points. In recent years, TPCA’s ISTEP+ pass rates have ranged from 80% - 100%.
While we are committed to academic excellence, we are equally committed to the spiritual formation of our students. All classes are taught from a biblical worldview and students participate in weekly chapel services. Additionally, our students participate in both local and international missions and service opportunities.
Our mission and vision statements emphasize our commitment to both the academic and spiritual development of our students:
Mission Traders Point Christian Academy challenges and educates students within a framework of a Biblical worldview while leading them to a personal faith and transformed life in Jesus Christ.
Vision TPCA will prepare and equip students to reach their highest individual potential and impact the world for Christ.
