About Us

Welcome to Middle School & Junior High

Middle School 5th-6th Grade & Junior High 7th-8th Grade

Dear Parents,

It is my privilege to welcome you and your child to our family at Traders Point Christian Academy (TPCA). I count it an honor to partner with your family in the educational experience of your child. Just as Christ meets us where we are in our spiritual walk, we strive to meet your children where they are (i.e. academically, physically,  and spiritually)and work hard to challenge him/her to grow in godly character while gaining the essential tools for successful living. We are to equip God’s people to do His work (Ephesians 4:12a). Faculty and staff members are committed to promoting education that lays the foundation for your child’s life-long learning.

Several issues related to the partnership between home and school contribute to a positive educational experience. The more you are actively involved in your child’s education, the greater the benefits. Here are a few practical ways in which you can help:

Take time to introduce yourself to your child’s teacher (s).

Communicate with your child’s teacher throughout the year, not just when there is a problem.

Be an encourager-tell and retell your child frequently that he/she CAN succeed.

Provide your child with unconditional love. This security encourages him/her to respond to challenges, try harder, and learn from mistakes.

Hold high, yet reasonable, expectations for your child’s progress.

Talk with and listen to your child concerning school matters. Regularly review what is brought home, give praise for a job well-done, applaud accomplishments, and discuss ways to work toward improvement.

Read to and with your child regularly.

Check and sign your child’s planner daily as well as watch for newsletters, emails, and other forms of school communication.

Be a volunteer. You are the school are a team and we need your help!

Should you have questions, concerns and/or suggestions, please bring them to my attention so that they may be properly addressed.

I know that you expect the very best for your child. My objective is to encourage, empower and equip the students, staff and parents at TPCA.  With God’s help, together we will work toward that goal. Thank you for the opportunity of sharing in the growth of your child’s mind and soul.

Serving Him,
