High School Division
In August 2008, TPCA opened a new high school division. TPCA offers a college preparatory program grounded in a Biblical foundation. Students who have the highest integrity, a strong desire to succeed academically and grow in their global and cultural awareness, and have a variety of extracurricular interests will experience the greatest level of achievement at TPCA.
The following is required for applicants to the TPCA high school division:
- All students must have successfully completed the previous grade and met all academic standards.
- Applicants should have a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and score at or above the 50th percentile on nationally standardized testing.
- Applicants should want to attend TPCA and are expected to relate to staff and peers with respect and a spirit of cooperation.
- Students should have a personal relationship with Christ or be open to learning about and considering the idea.
- Students will be required to take a placement test to determine accurate grade placement.
- Students must provide completed answers to writing sample questions provided in the application.
- Applicants must also provide: records from their previous school, most current report card and standardized test scores, and one teacher recommendation.
- Short parent and student interviews are also required.
- The testing/interview time must be scheduled in advance with the admissions department.
