WHY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Why Christian Education?

Each year families are faced with choices to make about their children's education. They ask themselves if the school district in which they live is academically strong enough for their child? Does it offer opportunities for growth in the arts, sports or other extra-curricular areas? Are the teachers well qualified and also love to teach students? Does the school offer a safe and inviting learning environment? Ultimately famlies are searching for a school that will provide a positive educational experience for their child, allowing them to develop to their highest potential.

Families may turn to independent schools as an alternative if they are searching for a better educational option for their child. If a community is fortunate enough to offer several such schools, how do parents choose the right school for their child? Among the options available, why would they choose a Christian education?

A Christian education provides students with a total educational experience. Not only do children experience outstanding academics, but they also receive the foundation necessary to be young men and women with wisdom and integrity - future leaders of the highest caliber in their families, workplaces and communities. Our goal is to develop students who value intellectual inquiry, who understand truth and can articulate and defend their Biblical worldview, and are prepared to engage in the marketplace of work and ideas to impact their world for Christ. An education without a Biblical worldview framework is simply knowledge without a defined purpose. In a world that rarely acknowledges wisdom and truth, and even more seldom seeks to define them, the Christian education is set apart as partnering with parents to establish a foundation for children that will serve them throughout their lives, not just until the next test.

Traders Point Christian Academy has provided thousands of students with this educational experience for more than 30 years. Each family has asked the question: Is Christian education worth the investment? And each has answered yes! We welcome the opportunity to meet  with families on a personalized basis to talk about why a Christian education is worth the cost and worthy of your serious consideration.
